Why choose Online Counselling?
Accessibility
Online therapy offers an accessibility that differs from face-to-face. It allows for fitting therapy around work, homelife and children and can be a lifeline for those struggling with an illness, injury or mobility.
Flexibility
Online counselling can be received anywhere in the UK with access to the internet. Most clients are able to find a quiet confidential space in their own home, whilst some might prefer the comfort of their car or equally, similar safe spaces.
Confidentiality
Online counselling can help to eliminate the fear or embarrassment of the possibility of being seen going into a counsellor’s office and you can keep the fact that you are attending counselling as private as you wish.
No need for travel
Counselling takes place completely on your terms without having to worry about travel, trains, traffic or parking, leaving you more relaxed to concentrate on what you would like to explore within the session.
Anonymity
Online counselling offers the anonymity to work with someone from another location where you are less likely to ‘bump into’ them.
Non-geographical
This means that if you have to rush to another part of the country for work or to take care of an elderly parent etc, that you don’t necessarily have to rearrange your appointment.
What equipment do I need?
Any suitable device, including a laptop, tablet or phone, with an internet connection, using a platform such as Teams or Zoom.
How safe it is?
I am a member of the Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy Online (ACTO) with a Level 5 Diploma in Online Counselling by the Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body (CPCAB), adhering to their professional and ethical practices and standards. Further information on my qualifications can be found on my About Me Page.
How can I find out more?
By contacting me for an informal chat so we can discuss your therapeutic needs.

Get In Touch
I appreciate that making initial contact can be difficult. After an informal telephone conversation, I would suggest we arrange an initial session for us both to assess if we are able and willing to work together.
Due to the nature of my work, you may find that your call goes to my voicemail. I know this can be off-putting but please don’t be shy and leave me a message. I will endeavour to contact you at the first opportunity, usually on the same day.
